Fight Club (Funko / Reaction Figures)

Fight Club
Funko / Reaction Figures
2015

Who is Tyler Durden? Spoiler alert, it's Brad Pitt who is also the Narrator, aka Edward Norton, and it's all a double personality thing. Sorry for spoiling it, but if you haven't seen the 1999 film yet, we're going to guess at this point that you're probably not going to.

Though the film has a large cult status following, most critics panned the film as being irresponsible, and promoting violence. They feared that impressionable males of the 90's would seek out ways to form their own fight clubs, and beat the snot out of each other - While making soap.

Fight Club remained rather dormant over the following years with a handful of re-releases on DVD and Blu-Ray, but never much merchandise. It wouldn't be until Funko's 2015 ReAction line that the characters would be immortalized in plastic fashion (followed soon after by the Craftone 1/6 scale Tyler Durden).

Like many of the ReAction lines, the series was small, and confined to the key players of the film. Hopefully this isn't a one and done release as there are so many more characters that could be incorporated into the line. The world is too short on supply of Meatloaf action figures, and it would be a shame to miss this perfect opportunity to develop one. Even if (dare we say it) it was an exclusive to someone.

Here's to hoping for more Fight Club figures in the future.
